At Westcoast Mountain Guides we offer a two day "intro to ice climbing" course in the Whistler area where you will learn the basics. Topics include: ice axe and crampon technique, hazard recognition, belaying, rappelling, scew placments and anchors and of course...climbing! A great and safe way to start such an exciting sport! This is less expensive because its focus is on instruction and climbing limited to single pitch.

Note: Ratio is based on a 2 person minumum and 4 person max.
